ALG Champions Welcome Training

This asynchronous introductory training was developed for new ALG Champions; it covers an overview of Affordable Learning Georgia, Affordable Materials Grants, open educational resources and Creative Commons licensing, accessibility, and open and OER-enabled pedagogy.

Affordable Materials Grants Asynchronous Kick-Off Training

This asynchronous training walks recent Affordable Materials Grants grantees through some of the essential material they will need to complete their grant project successfully. 

Introduction to Open Educational Resources

This 2-hour training module is an introduction to open educational resources (OER) and how they can impact student success at Kennesaw State University (and elsewhere). It won 2nd place in the 2020 SoftChalk Lesson Challenge.

Building and Teaching Hybrids

This 2-hour training module is an introduction to best practices in hybrid course design. It won 3rd place in the 2019 SoftChalk Lesson Challenge.

Build a Web Course Workshop

This full-semester hybrid  workshop was design to walk faculty participants through the entire process of developing an online or hybrid course, including conforming to Quality Matters standards. It won the Excellence in Faculty Development for Online Teaching award from the Online Learning Consortium in 2015.
